The SYSTEM@TIC PARIS‐REGION Cluster has developed 93 R&D projects representing a total cost of €527M, including close to €200M of financial support from the French Government, its economic development agencies (the National Research Agency and the OSEO) and from the Paris‐Region local governments.
These projects are being developed within the 5 technology/market‐oriented Working Groups:
The Cluster’s R&D projects have the following characteristics:
- they are characterised by cooperation between academics and manufacturers who show a willingness to pool resources
- they are at the heart of innovation in one of the Cluster’s four target markets
- they submit to the Cluster’s in‐house approval process before being presented to government officials for selection
