SMEs-SMIs at the heart of innovation

An ecosystem based on a strong SMEs-SMIs network

SYSTEM@TIC PARIS-REGION is based on an ecosystem made up of 900 SMEs-SMIs which represent more than 35 000 jobs in fields covered by the Cluster.

To date, over 100 SMEs belong to the Cluster. Any SME-SMI can apply for admission in the SYSTEM@TIC PARIS-REGION Cluster.  Each application is submitted to the Cluster’s in-house approval process.

To join the Cluster, SMEs have to:

  • earmark a substantial share of turnover for R&D
  • show a strong willingness to cooperate
  • be positioned on the Cluster’s applicative/target markets and technologies

By joining the Cluster, the SMEs profit from the Cluster’s assets:

  • They access the technical and strategic visions in the target markets
  • They participate to R&D projects
  • They gain local, national and international visibility
  • They profit from the networking (R&D, trade, finance, etc.)

The SMEs within the Cluster

SMEs involved in R&D projects

80% out of 100 SMEs are directly involved in R&D projects.

For the 2nd call for proposals from the Government on May 15th, 2006, the Cluster has shown its support to SMEs by presenting projects managed by SMEs only.

5 projects were approved by the Cluster and were handed in to the Commission des Financeurs (FCE) on May 15th.

Apart from the R&D projects, the Cluster opens up to new members and new SMEs.

The Cluster’s objectives are:
