A selection of growing application/target markets

 
The SYSTEM@TIC PARIS-REGION Cluster’s choice of applicative/target markets is based on the desire to cover a wide range of briskly growing markets (up 10% to 20% per year) offering a host of opportunities (open-ended rules, increasingly open standards and upsurge of freeware) that meet the social needs of major metropolises in the 21st century.

Based on those guidelines, the SYSTEM@TIC PARIS-REGION Cluster focuses on five applicative/target markets:

  • Automotive & Transport
  • Free & Open Source Software
  • Security & Defence
  • Systems Design and Development Tools
  • Telecoms

The technologies and tools developed within the technology-oriented Working Groups serve the target/applicative markets covered by the Cluster.
