Europe's top security organisations join forces
Four major security clusters in Europe and a business support organisation have announced the launch of SIGNATURE: The European Security Innovation Network. This European project aims to become a leading European security network by expanding the existing security sector cluster infrastructure within North West Europe to address the currently fragmented supply side and increase opportunities for new innovations.
To achieve this, five partners from four different countries are working together: ngage solutions and the Security Innovation and Technology Consortium (SITC) in England, System@tic Paris Region in France, LSEC Leaders in Security in Belgium, and TeleTrusT Deutschland in Germany. Jointly, these cluster organisations represent over 1,000 companies from all over the world – including Thales, SAGEM, Zetes, Vasco, McAfee, Sophos, Unisys and Dimension Data – with an enormous expertise in security. The project is supported by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the INTERREG IVB programme.
